I studied Biology at the University of Basque Country (2014), MSc in Zoology at the Complutense University of Madrid (2015), and I am PhD in Biodiversity, Ecosystem Functioning and Management by the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU, 2021). I currently hold a postdoc position at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

During my PhD I used a multidisciplinary approach, combining molecular techniques and complex statistical models, both in a Frequentist and Bayesian framework, to shed light upon some aspects that may be involved in the decline of farmland birds and had not yet been accurately assessed, mostly related to the intensification of agriculture.

My scientific interest is mainly focused on ecology and conservation biology. In particular, on the interaction between biodiversity and humans, intraspecific and interspecific relationships, and parasitology, especially in birds.
