Biodiversity and landscape ecology

Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Universitat de Barcelona (2018).

Master’s Degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2019).

My main interests are biodiversity conservation and management, ornithology and forest ecology and management. I am currently doing my PhD, which is focused on forest-dwelling raptors, forest biodiversity and global change and is co-directed by Lluís Brotons (CTFC) and Santi Mañosa (Universitat de Barcelona). I have previously spent several years studying this group of birds and its response to anthropic and climate impacts within the framework of Departament de Biologia Evolutiva, Ecologia i Ciències Ambientals of Universitat de Barcelona.

I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Catalan Ornithological Institute, and I have previously worked as a technician at CTFC and as a freelance for Institució Catalana d’Història Natural, and I have collaborated with the Torreferrussa Wildlife Centre and with the Plant Biodiversity Resource Centre (UB). I love both fieldwork and computer-work, and I enjoy transferring scientific knowledge to people, which I consider really important for the advancement and improvement of society.
