Strategy
2025-2030

The Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) is a public research consortium established in 1996.

CTFC is officially recognised as a CERCA research centre by the Government of Catalonia and operates under the legal framework for CERCA centres.
We define our activities for the coming years around three levels of activity: RESEARCH, TRANSFER, and IMPLEMENTATION

Through science in forest management, biodiversity conservation, and the bioeconomy, we seek applied solutions that generate impact. The results will be implemented and scaled up from the Forestry Hub.

What
We Do?
CTFC

We contribute to science for sustainable forest management, biodiversity, and the circular bioeconomy.

We are a hub of excellence in research and in transferring technology to society.
We use an interdisciplinary research approach that is connected to the territory and firmly oriented toward promoting multifunctional landscape models that are more resilient to social, economic, and environmental changes.
