Senior Specialist in Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT+I) at the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) and researcher at the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Group (GPAM) since 1998, specializing in marketing and commercialization aspects of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), with extensive experience in wild collection, cultivation and transformation of MAPS raw materials, through applied research, development of transfer material and implementation of continuous training to the productive sector. RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: Prospecting, collection, and conservation of germplasm, chemical characterization, selection, and propagation studies of wild populations of MAPS (rosemary, lavender, sage, arnica, etc.) (Projects: ENPI CBC MED Bioxplore, BIOMARKETS, INIA); Adaptation of some MAPS species to cultivation in Catalonia (sage, lemon balm, thyme, mint, St. John's wort, savory, etc.) (Projects: PAMinCAT Operational Groups, QDPAM); Sustainable management of wild MAPS in forestry (gentian, bearberry, mastic). (Projects: INTERREG POCTEFA GESTES, INTERREG SUDOE ValuePam).

EXPERIENCE TRANSFER: Promoting the forest bioeconomy, wild harvesting, and cultivation of MAPS in mountain areas (projects: BIOMARKETS, IMFOREST, INCREDIBLE FOREST); Demonstrating innovation in equipment and machinery for MAPS processing; MAPS production processes (organic farming, agroforestry, irrigation/dry farming, etc.) (projects by DARP-Generalitat de Catalunya, APRA-Andorra, Diputación de Lleida); Rural development with MAPS (international cooperation in Iran, Russia, Turkey, Morocco, etc.); Advisory services to MAPS companies and entrepreneurs (Local Employment and Dynamization Agent - AODL).
