Gianni Picchi holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Agronomy (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa, Italy) and a MSc. degree in Forestry (University of Florence, Italy). He has over 20 years of experience in forest operations, agroforestry biomass production and quality assessment. In the last decade his research has increasingly focused on traceability of timber products and precision forestry.
