Our research is focused on characterizing inter- and intraspecific variability in forest and agroforestry species, and on selecting base materials for the production, adaptation and preservation of species’ genetic resources within the context of climate change.
In addition to traits related to production (productivity and technological properties) our goals include biodiversity conservation and the identification of adaptive traits. We assess these traits considering the main current and potential biotic and abiotic threats likely to affect each species within the context of future climate scenarios.
