LINE / Forest Chemistry, Bioproducts and Biorefineries
Graduated in Chemistry and with a Master's in Industrial Chemistry and Introduction to Chemical Research from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Currently, she is developing her doctorate within the context of bioeconomy and circular economy, focusing on obtaining bioproducts from biomass pyrolysis liquids and their analytical characterization using techniques such as FT-ICR MS, GCMS, HPLC, NMR, FT-IR, etc.
She is part of the joint research and transfer unit between the Forest Science and Technology Center of Catalonia (CTFC) and the University of Lleida (UdL) which aims to promote the development of biorefineries and bioproducts from Mediterranean agroforestry ecosystems. Within the framework of the doctorate, she has carried out a research stay at Washington State University (WSU), collaborating with a globally recognized group specialized in pyrolysis, fractionation, and the upgrading of products derived from the pyrolysis of forest biomass. She has participated in several international and local congresses such as EUBCE, RSC seminars, Expobiomassa, etc.
