Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with part of the program completed at Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago, Chile. Master’s Degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with part of the master’s thesis carried out at the Institut AgroParisTech in Nancy, France.

He currently works as a biodiversity modeling technician within the CARTOBIO and GREENRISK projects. His work focuses on modeling the distribution of various species, including several taxons of steppe birds, the brown bear, the Pyrenean owl, and the European polecat, among others. He began developing expertise in this field during his master’s thesis, “Effects of climate change over alpine vegetation and treeline distribution in the Pyrenees: the case of Gentiana alpina,” conducted at AgroParisTech in Nancy and at the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology, and Ecology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has specialized in systematic conservation planning based on natural values, both in protected natural areas and across Catalonia. His experience also includes studying the drivers of change, such as human presence in natural spaces and working with remote sensing data, including satellite imagery and derived climate and meteorological products. He collaborated with CREAF on monitoring alpine marmots in the Pyrenees, completed internships in wildlife conservation, rehabilitation, and recovery at the Torreferrussa Wildlife Center, and worked with ADENC (Association for the Defense and Study of Nature of Catalonia) in education, communication, and environmental volunteer coordination.
