LINE / Conservation of agricultural ecosystems and game species

Biologist with a Master’s in Ecology and a PhD in Biodiversity

Her career has focused on enhancing our understanding of the requirements of animal species of conservation concern and evaluating the effects of conservation and management measures to provide evidence-based management recommendations. She has worked with several animal groups, including steppe birds, bats and rabbits.

She has combined field work and experimental in-field approaches with an extensive use of tracking technologies (GPS, accelerometers, bioacoustics) to better understand animal habitat use and movement at various spatial and temporal resolutions.

She has also participated in works aiming to understand the social challenges that biodiversity conservation faces and she is interested in participatory processes for addressing human-wildlife conflicts.
