PROGRAMA / Biología de la conservación
LÍNEA / Ecología espacial

Graduated in Environmental Biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB, with a master's degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) – Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid (RJB).
Currently, he works as a biodiversity modeler within CARTOBIO and GREENRISK projects. Specifically, he focuses on the study of bird distribution and migration at both European and Catalan scales. Technically, his work involves (1) data collection, harmonization, integration, process automation, and spatial data analysis, and (2) spatial modeling and calibration of distribution and change maps.
His previous professional experience was as a research technician in Dr. Barton’s Evolutionary Biology group (IST Austria), where he conducted analyses on spatial databases and statistical models on spatial ecology (2020-2021). Additionally, he has automated web scraping processes, pipelines, and data analysis for commercial purposes for a private company (six months); participated in the census and georeferencing of the herbaceous plant Antirrhinum majus (snapdragon) and associated herbivores (two months); and collaborated in the development of the urban green plan for a city council as an environmental technician (six months).
