Teresa Valor holds a degree in Forestry Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València and a PhD in Terrestrial Ecology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is currently a lecturer at the School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering (EEABB) at Polytechnic University of Catalonia, where she teaches in the Landscape Architecture grade. Her research focuses on forest resilience, investigating how trees respond to disturbances such as wildfires, bark beetles, and drought using methodologies like dendrochronology, isotopic analysis, and terpene quantification. Recently, she has expanded her work to explore how species interactions vary along environmental gradients.
