Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Barcelona, a Master's degree in Soil and Water Management from the University of Lleida, and a postgraduate degree in High Mountain Ecology and Vegetation from the University of Barcelona.

Ana's general interests are focused on soil conservation and soil and water management to prevent erosion processes in both agricultural and forested areas. Ana has collaborated on a project aimed at determining post-fire soil surface dynamic processes and implementing management practices to reduce soil erosion after a forest fire in Catalonia in 2021. Co-writer of "Codi de bones pràctiques agràries contra l’erosió per preservar els sòls i les aigües a Catalunya" for the DARP (Departament d’Agricultura, Ramaderia i Pesca). Currently, Ana is coordinating the FU€LAGRIMAGE project, which focuses on improving agri-environmental quality and facilitating low-carbon and digital transitions in rural areas through biofuel polycultures (2023-2025). In addition, Ana is collaborating in the IBERALP study, which examines the vulnerability of biodiversity and climate services in Iberian alpine communities of mountain National Parks (2021-2024).
