Jordi Garcia Pausas
Researcher (M)
PROGRAM / Multifunctional forest management
LINE / Silvopastoral ecology and management
Biological Sciences Graduate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1999) and PhD from the University of Lleida (2011).
After completing a postdoctoral position at the James Hutton Institute (Aberdeen, Scotland) (2012–2013), he received a Juan de la Cierva fellowship (2016–2017) to conduct research at the CTFC. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the CTFC, where his work focuses on the effects of forest management practices (such as thinning and prescribed burning) on the carbon and nutrient cycles within the plant–soil system.
