PhD in Urban Planning from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2004), Civil Urban Engineer from the Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (1992–1997), and Master’s in Political Science from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (1997–1999).
Since 2020, he has been a researcher at the CTFC and an Associate Professor at the Department of Urbanism, Territory, and Landscape at UPC. His research has consistently focused on contemporary public space. In recent years, he has studied the development of biocities through green infrastructure, nature-based solutions, and associated ecosystem services. His academic interests also include sustainable mobility strategies and their relationship with high-quality, vibrant, and healthy public spaces.
