Mireia Codina Palou is a KTT specialist engineer in forest harvesting and biomass. She has extensive experience in the analysis and characterization of solid biofuels, quality control and storage of forest chips, as well as in inspection and auditing services for the traceability and quality of biomass. She has provided scientific and technical advice to companies and administrations in the production, supply, and use of agroforestry biomass.
In addition, she actively participates in the dissemination and communication of bioenergy through conferences and seminars.
Currently, she is responsible for the DBOSQ quality label for domestic and industrial wood chips and works as an external inspector for DIN CERTCO, conducting inspections and audits in pellet factories for the DINplus certification.
