Alba has over 14 years of experience in developing engagement and capacity-building programs in sustainability across both public and private sectors. She has extensive expertise in corporate sustainability, leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing projects focused on education and communication for sustainability. She has contributed to the design and rollout of strategies for awareness-raising and skills development, particularly in areas related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, at both local and international levels.
Currently, she is the coordinator of the UNESCO Network of Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves, fostering collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and capacity strengthening. She also supports the identification and implementation of projects related to Biosphere Reserves, in collaboration with the CTFC’s Biosphere Reserves research group and the International UNESCO Centre for Biosphere Reserves.
