PhD in Bioscience Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (2013–2017); Forestry Engineer from the University of Lleida, Spain (2009–2014); MSc in Nature Conservation and Forests from Wageningen University, the Netherlands (2010–2011); MSc in European Forestry from the University of Eastern Finland, Finland (2010–2011); and Technical Forestry Engineer from the University of Lleida, Spain (2004–2009).

He has served as Project Coordinator at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (ITACA) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain (2017–2022), and as an Early-Stage Marie Curie Researcher at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), Germany (2013–2017). He has also been a Visiting Researcher at the Technical University of Munich (2015), and a Research Assistant at Wageningen University (2012), the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRAe, 2011), the University of Lleida (2009), and the CTFC (2008–2009). With more than 10 years of experience in drafting, coordinating, and participating in national and international projects (EIT Climate-KIC, Interreg, EU FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe, UIA, ENI CBC Med, Valencian Agency of Innovation, among others), he is currently Deputy Coordinator of the H2020 FIRE-RES project at the CTFC (since 2022).
