Francesc holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona. His scientific interest lies in understanding how wildlife responds to habitat and ecosystem changes caused by human activities, from both landscape and behavioural ecology perspectives, with the aim of benefiting biodiversity conservation. His research focuses on how animals respond to global change at different spatial and temporal scales, with a particular emphasis on bird movements, behavioural responses, and life history traits, but also on developing and applying new tools for wildlife monitoring and conservation.
