I hold a degree in Environmental Sciences, specialized in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and Geomatics. Since 2011, I have worked with national institutions such as the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council), the CTFC (Forest Science and Technology Center of Catalonia), and the University of Córdoba, as well as with international entities like ELSA (Environment Life Cycle and Sustainability Assessment) in Montpellier and ANU (Australian National University) in Canberra. My experience includes five years at a research and development company, where I managed and developed environmental modeling and mapping projects, in addition to being a speaker in master’s programs and courses on GIS, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence.

In the past six years, I have worked as a technician in GIS, remote sensing, and modeling while completing my PhD on the application of artificial intelligence models in the agricultural, forestry, and urban sectors to mitigate climate change. My thesis, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Modeling Frontiers: Shaping Social-Ecological Systems Towards Climate Change,” was developed at BC3 (Basque Centre for Climate Change). Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Forests and Water Department of the CTFC, focusing on eco-hydrological modeling.
