Com a investigador pre-doctoral ha treballat en col·laboració amb l'Institut de Ciències Forestals (ICIFOR) de l'INIA-CSIC en projectes relacionats amb la temàtica de la seva tesi i el seu treball fi de Màster. Ha realitzat estades de recerca pre-doctorals en Natural Resources Canada (Ottawa, el Canadà), així com en la Northern Research Station de Forest Research (Roslin, Escòcia, el Regne Unit). Des de març de 2024, investigador post-doctoral al CTFC, lligat al projecte europeu Eco2Adapt, així com mantenint línies de recerca en silvicultura i en restauració post-incendi.
