La seva experiència se centra en el comportament al foc i la propagació d’incendis en les façanes, la seguretat contra incendis i la modelització de la propagació del foc, amb una àmplia experiència en projectes de recerca relacionats amb elements constructius de fusta i construcció sostenible. Va participar com a membre del Comitè de Direcció i colíder d’un grup de treball en l’Acció COST FP1404 - Fire Safe Use of Bio-Based Building Products. Col·labora activament amb el grup de recerca global Fire Safe Use of Wood (FSUW). És cofundadora i coordinadora d'activitats de LIGNOMAD, una xarxa de recerca espanyola que promou l'ús de la fusta i materials lignocel·lulòsics en el sector de la construcció. A més, participa activament en diverses iniciatives destinades a promoure i impulsar l'ús de fusta local en la indústria de la construcció a Catalunya.
