Forest engineer (University of Lleida) with two masters degree on forest fire science (universities of León-Cordoba-Lleida) and on civil protection (Univeristy of Valencia).

Currently developing its activity on the Forest Policy and Environmental Governance area of the CTFC. Mainly  focus on forest risks analysis from the theory to the practice through a cross-sectoral approach, aiming to increase both social and environmental resilience in a changing context; with special attention on forest fires phenomenon.

He has participate as officer and researcher of EU funded projects (DG-ECHO) in the framework of the projects: "Operational tools for improving efficiency in wildfire risk reduction in EU landscapes" (FIREfficient), "Efficient fire risk communication for resilient societies" (eFIRECOM) and currently the "Networking for the European Forest Risk Facility initiative" (NET RISK WORK). Additionally he is an active member of the Forest Communicators Network.
